Hi

For most of my life, I've been drawn to experiences that bring people together. Sometimes thats found on mountain peaks, in crashing waves, or performing artists. Other times it has meant long road trips, quiet conversations with strangers, and finding myself in places I never expected to be.

Photography became a natural extension of that curiosity.

The camera has given me a reason to slow down, pay attention, and look a little closer. It has introduced me to artists, athletes, travellers, guides, musicians, and communities around the world. More importantly, it has taught me that the most interesting stories are rarely found in the headline moments. They're hidden in the details, the people behind the scenes, and the experiences that shape us long after they end.

Through Bouwman Media, I document the spaces where music, people, and places intersect. From festivals and tourism campaigns to outdoor adventures and editorial storytelling, my goal is to create work that helps people feel connected to a community.

Field Notes is an extension of that idea.  It is a collection of stories, observations, and experiences I've gathered along the way.
